Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our business solutions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and report defects in software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to ensure test plans align with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and other testing artifacts.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Participate in agile scrum methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HR - Enterprise Resource Planning tools.
  • Knowledge or experience in Infor Lawson software.
