About the Role:
The Senior Professional Affairs Manager will play a crucial role in formulating and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at nurturing robust relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), key accounts, educational institutions, and professional organizations, thereby supporting the Bausch + Lomb Pharmaceutical division.

Reporting Structure:
This position will report directly to the Executive Director of Professional Strategy within Bausch + Lomb Pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute KOL strategies to enhance and solidify productive relationships across the Bausch + Lomb Rx Portfolio.
2. Organize advisory boards in collaboration with Directors and Brand Leads to extract key insights that will inform future marketing strategies and tactics.
3. Cultivate strong relationships with key healthcare professionals (HCPs), industry groups, associations, key accounts, and educational institutions.
4. Provide comprehensive product information and serve as an expert on Bausch + Lomb Pharma's core brands, policies, and business regulations.
5. Act as the commercial lead for coordinating all KOL and Brand activities at major ophthalmology and optometry congresses.
6. Collaborate with the Professional Strategy team and Brand Leads to oversee all promotional speaker program engagements.
7. Drive HCP attendance at educational events through various promotional opportunities.
8. Organize and facilitate both in-person and virtual business meetings with clients in alignment with business objectives.
9. Identify and achieve strategic goals that enhance Bausch + Lomb's standing within key KOL communities.
10. Establish and maintain relationships with designated academic institutions.
11. Provide cross-functional support for KOL, key account, society, and academic initiatives.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing, with a preference for ophthalmic and pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team-oriented environment.
- Proven track record in independently executing significant projects.
- Strong skills in KOL development and relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in data analytics and interpretation.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
- Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight travel 35-50% of the time.

Compensation:
As per New York City's salary transparency regulations, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range for roles that may be performed in New York City. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including skill set, experience level, and specific office location. The starting annual base pay range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000.
