Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. John Hospital Health Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • One or more of the following certifications are required: Cardiographic Tech (CCI), Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT (R) certification is preferred.
  • CT experience is required, and certification is preferred.
