Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to oversee the performance of medical assistants and licensed practical nurses in our Mt. Vernon Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have over a year of ambulatory and supervisory experience, as well as a working knowledge of OB/GYN medical terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities will include managing the overall function of the pod, providing patient education, and responding to patient questions and requests.

The Medical Assistant Supervisor will work closely with the Nurse Manager and assist with administrative duties, including quality assessment, improvement, and audits.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a rotating Saturday clinic schedule.

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant with the State of Washington
  • Over a year of ambulatory and supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of OB/GYN medical terminology and procedures
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required

What We Offer:

Sea Mar offers a competitive salary range of $27.32 to $28.37 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as life insurance, long-term disability, and an employee assistance program.

Full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week receive 27 days of paid time off per year, plus 10 paid holidays. We also offer 401(k) and retirement options.
