This position offers a remarkable opportunity to advance your career in the realm of Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscopes (FIB-SEM) within a semiconductor-centric setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples utilizing FIB to produce STEM lamella, followed by in situ STEM imaging.
- Handle sensitive customer samples and proprietary information with care.
- Assist clients in identifying areas of interest, interpreting results, and troubleshooting discrepancies in data.
- Document findings in pathfinding projects to aid team members in their endeavors.
- Develop innovative processes to address complex challenges; enhance existing methodologies to minimize variance and boost productivity.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate technique transfers, share sample insights, and elevate the standards of semiconductor microscopy.
Qualifications
This is a senior-level role requiring prior experience in electron microscopy. Candidates should possess an MS or BS in a physical science. Familiarity with dual beam scanning electron microscope/focused ion beam technology is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging with a broad internal customer base. Proficiency in Windows PCs and MS Office is required. Knowledge of advancements in the semiconductor industry and its materials is a plus.
