At Cody Regional Health, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Nursing Professional to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our patients in the Hospice House setting. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing supportive services to patients with unstable health status or those requiring skilled professional services. This will include personal care, non-skilled health care services, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

You will work under the supervision of an RN or LPN and must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on your assigned unit. You will also need to possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.

Requirements
  • Current Wyoming CNA certification OR a Wyoming LPN license (IV-certified preferred)
  • Two years of Hospital/Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a CNA; two years of nursing experience required as an LPN, with Hospice experience preferred
