Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as maintaining accurate records and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, prescriptions, and inventory levels.
  • Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems, medications, and patient care.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
