Position Overview
Infosys is on the lookout for a talented Quantitative Analysis Consultant. We are in search of an exceptionally skilled and driven professional with a robust foundation in Python programming and Mathematics.

In this capacity, you will be instrumental in the development and execution of quantitative models, performing data analysis, and creating, testing, and maintaining high-performance applications utilizing Python.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and exhibit proficiency in Python programming along with Machine Learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in requirements gathering and development processes.
- Oversee code deployment, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in testing and documentation efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.

It is essential for candidates to be located within a reasonable commuting distance to the designated work locations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proven experience in Python development and its frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in the software services industry with a focus on Mathematical modeling and software development.
- Familiarity with statistical models for risk assessment, pricing, and optimization.
- Proficient in database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Knowledge of data pipelines for efficient data processing and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy for database operations.
- Ability to validate and test quantitative models to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for coding.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience in the banking sector is an added advantage.
