This role involves developing and implementing education programs aligned with our hospital's strategic plan and goals. The Care Management Expert will also assess and evaluate staff competencies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement education programs aligned with the hospital's strategic plan and goals.
- Assess and evaluate staff competencies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with the Education department to ensure classroom training is documented and entered into the Learning Management System.
- Maintain accurate records of education programs and employee education files.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in nursing required; Master's in Nursing or Nursing related preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of acute care experience as a Nurse or LVN and minimum two (2) years case management experience in an acute care setting.
- Skills: Care/Case Management certification highly preferred; Nursing educator experience highly preferred. Current California Nursing license and experience with implementation of an EMR preferred.
