We are seeking a skilled Ride Mechanic to join our team at Six Flags New England. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our rides and attractions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily inspections of assigned rides and attractions to ensure safe operation
- Communicate with maintenance and operations management on ride and attraction downtime
- Perform rehab work on theme park rides and attractions
- Maintain, erect, repair, and troubleshoot various theme park rides and attractions
- Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
- Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts using hand and/or power tools
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment, including rides and attractions
- Track inspections and repairs in Maximo; keep accurate logs and records of routine and preventative maintenance work performed
- Comply with ride manufacturer guidelines and state regulations
- 18 years old or older with a valid driver's license
- Able to work at heights over 200 feet
- Able to lift 50 lbs. without difficulty
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screenings
