POSITION OVERVIEW

• Conduct visual inspections of products to verify they conform to quality specifications regarding dimensions and design.
• Accurately clean, trim, and label components.
• Ensure correct assembly of components when utilizing gaskets.
• Efficiently pack components into boxes and securely seal them using a tape machine.
• Label boxes with a unique identifier.
• Prepare pallets for collection by the Material Handler.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to promote a safe working atmosphere.
• Construct boxes and apply suitable labels.
• Empty grind buckets as required.
• Check and replenish gaskets, rings, and other necessary materials before concluding the shift.
• Assist in performing physical inventory checks.
• Comply with all Employee Conduct and Work Rules.
• Perform any other assigned responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in the use of cutting tools and clippers.
• Prioritize safety and exhibit awareness and accountability.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be physically capable of executing all tasks outlined in this job description, including bending, stooping, and lifting heavy items weighing up to 40 pounds. The role necessitates mobility to operate in a shop floor setting, involving activities such as crawling, kneeling, lifting, pulling, sitting, standing, and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. The typical noise level in the work environment is moderate.
