Hourly Rate: $18.00 (Dependent on Experience)

Shifts:
Full-Time/Part-Time shifts available Sunday through Wednesday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Position Overview:
This role is essential in providing support to assigned clients with their daily living activities. Responsibilities include assisting with ambulation, personal care, homemaking tasks, dietary needs, and other daily life activities. The position also involves monitoring changes in clients' conditions and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be expected to:

  • Exhibit proficiency and skills as a certified nursing assistant.
  • Report any changes in the client's condition and adherence to the Plan of Care to enhance client care.
  • Support clients in achieving independence during Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) whenever feasible, following the prescribed Plan of Care. ADLs may include, but are not limited to: bed mobility, bathing, oral hygiene, hair and nail care, skin care, transfers, toileting, peri-care, medication reminders, and preparing light meals.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
  • Apply safety principles and proper body mechanics in performing personal and supportive care techniques, including ambulation, transfers, and positioning.
  • Prepare and provide medically prescribed nutrition and fluid intake.
  • Understand basic body functioning and report any changes as necessary.
  • Perform environmental services as assigned.
  • Follow specific written instructions for personal care as outlined by a supervisor in accordance with the Service Plan.
  • Assist clients with prescribed exercises as directed by a supervisor.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies:
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies, procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations. Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Decision-Making Skills:
Ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; analyze data from various sources to draw conclusions; utilize effective approaches for selecting a course of action or developing suitable solutions; and take actions consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable outcomes.

Qualifications:
Education/Training:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification:
  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
