Inpatient Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Acute Care Unit at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients, utilizing the latest techniques and technologies to improve mobility and prepare for discharge.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify treatment goals and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication
- Modify treatment plans as needed to address changes in patient status and capabilities
- Provide education to patients and families on physical therapy techniques and goals
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current State of CT license
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
