Job Summary

The Psychiatric Social Worker is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning to our members. This role requires a deep understanding of psychopathology and the ability to recognize timely clinical treatment interventions.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for members
  • Effective communication of clinical material to members and clinical staff
  • High internal and external customer/patient satisfaction
  • Expertise in various treatment methodologies
  • Appropriate and timely documentation of clinical encounters
  • Knowledge of KP and community resources
  • Adherence to mandated guidelines for patient care and licensure
Requirements:
  • Two years of post-graduate mental health therapy experience within the last five years
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or equivalent
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required
