Position Overview:


As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients facing challenges related to neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, and voice disorders. Your expertise will be essential in providing tailored interventions through a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a continuum of services aimed at promoting and restoring optimal health and well-being for patients.
  • Utilize the rehabilitation process effectively to ensure patient recovery and improvement.
  • Maintain accountability for upholding the organization's mission and core values.


Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in direct patient care within inpatient or outpatient environments is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is advantageous.
  • A Master's degree in speech-language therapy along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence is required.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist Certification from the State of Colorado.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Physical ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.


This position is designed for PRN home health services, addressing the needs of patients in various locations.
