Job Summary:

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at The MetroHealth System, a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Cleveland, Ohio. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality CT images in a variety of settings, including trauma, stroke, and cancer patients.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures, including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and provide education to patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, utilizing critical thinking and communication skills to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the standard probationary period.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of related experience, with advanced certification through the ARRT in CT.

Working Conditions:

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to lift, pull, or push over 50 pounds.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
