Cardiopulmonary Care OpportunitySan Luis Valley Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-focused team. As a Cardiopulmonary Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management, suctioning, and artificial airway care.
Conduct bedside spirometry, ABG specimen collections, and interpretation, as well as chest X-ray.
Utilize and maintain an organized medical record and EMR for accurate patient documentation.
Requirements:
Graduate of a college or university program of Respiratory Therapy (AMA approved).
Credentialed with the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
Active Colorado license in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advances Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and NRP required within 6 months of hire.
