We are seeking a skilled OB Tech Birthing Center Specialist to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a key member of our labor and delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the OB Tech Birthing Center Specialist will perform scrubbing functions for cesarean sections, emergent hysterectomies, post partum tubal ligation, double set-ups, and dilation and curettage procedures. The successful candidate will also provide and support the RN in the delivery of patient care in the obstetrical setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the OR/LDR suites with the required equipment to perform specific surgical procedures in accordance with applicable policies, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Provide and support the RN in the delivery of patient care in the obstetrical setting.
  • Perform scrubbing functions for cesarean sections, emergent hysterectomies, post partum tubal ligation, double set-ups, and dilation and curettage procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior OR experience or certification from a Surgical Scrub Tech program.
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire.
