Job Title: Registered Nurse Oncology

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Oncology team in Harlingen, Texas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. They will also supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan patient care, implementing interventions as needed
  • Supervise and delegate care to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with the CNO to ensure high-quality nursing care
  • Participate in unit-level resource management
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire/transfer
