Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate I to join our team at an undisclosed company. This role involves working in a challenging environment that requires adherence to strict safety and hygiene standards.

Work Environment

The position is set in a cold and wet environment, where employees will handle frozen pork and fresh beef. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the staging area and all raw product storage.
  • Remove empty boxes and trash to minimize hazards.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the department manager immediately.
  • Function effectively as part of a team while also being able to complete tasks independently.
  • Operate industrial equipment as certified by the Safety Manager.
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for extended periods. Team lifting is acceptable for heavier items, but regular lifting will typically be around 10 pounds.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma and have experience in a cold/wet environment. Previous packing experience and familiarity with machinery used for cutting or pressing meat will be considered advantageous.
