Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Ossining, NY. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in preparing specimens for laboratory testing and performing screening standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients using proper techniques and equipment
• Label and process specimens according to established procedures
• Maintain accurate records and update patient information
• Provide excellent customer service and create a calm environment for patients
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet laboratory and departmental goals

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent patient interaction skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $23.00/Hr. - USD $25.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
