Walmart is seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our Vision Center team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and vision services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based vision care to patients, including routine eye exams, prescription management, and treatment of eye diseases.
- Deliver high-quality patient care, educating patients on eye health, contact lens care, and disease state management.
- Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans and ensure adherence to optometry scope of practice.
- Stay current on new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation, embracing innovation to enhance patient care.
- Recruit and manage a team of optometrists, ensuring excellent patient care and adherence to company standards.
- Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
- Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and health information systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Walmart offers a competitive salary range of $100,000.00-$200,000.00, as well as annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Sales Volume Category (SVC), and Complex Structure (CS) incentives.
