**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to lead transportation design projects, including traffic signals, lighting, pavement markings, and signage. The ideal candidate will have experience in project leadership, technical documentation, and collaboration with various teams on traffic engineering and planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transportation design projects from concept to completion
  • Prepare traffic analysis studies, site access evaluations, and design exception/waiver documentation
  • Lead project meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • 6+ years of experience in transportation engineering or traffic studies
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Strong communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)
  • Experience in Traffic Design
