Position: Banquet Bartender

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with all patrons in a genuine, courteous, and service-focused manner, striving to exceed expectations for complete guest satisfaction.

Execute cashier responsibilities in accordance with the Banquet Event Order, adhering to both Stonebridge Companies and Franchise standards.

Meticulously prepare the bar area prior to service; ensure cleanliness before and after shifts in line with operational guidelines to promote guest comfort.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of beverages offered, including garnishes, ingredients, and preparation techniques, and confidently address guest inquiries.

Employ suggestive selling strategies to enhance average check totals.

Complete and maintain current alcohol service training, such as TIPS or other state-approved certifications.

Comply with all local and national alcohol regulations.

Verify guest orders before serving to ensure proper presentation, temperature, and portion sizes.

Assist in managing beverage costs by minimizing waste.

Accurately take orders and perform necessary cashiering tasks, including closing guest checks and entering data into the POS system when required.

Remain in the banquet bartending area unless given permission to leave.

Participate in meetings and training sessions as mandated by management.

Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with local laws.

Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and adhere to designated work, break, and meal periods as per standards.

Exhibit high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including compliance with the dress code.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Relevant experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.

Completion of a Bartending school or course is advantageous.

A minimum of one year of bartending experience is preferred.

Must complete and maintain current alcohol service training, such as TIPS or other state-approved certifications.

Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing basic correspondence. Proficient in presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and colleagues.

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and interpret basic computer and POS system operations.
