Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives, including improving patient satisfaction and reducing errors.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Technician certification or registration, as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
