Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate Product Delivery: Ensure timely and precise delivery of products to local customers, including bars, restaurants, casinos, and schools.
  • Verify Delivery Contents: Verify delivery contents against invoices to guarantee correct delivery of orders.
  • Merchandise Handling: Properly scan merchandise upon delivery to maintain accurate records.
  • Vehicle Operation and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the commercial vehicle is in good operating condition.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with the transportation department associates using cell phones.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record mileage and delivery times for each route.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer concerns or questions during deliveries.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED: Required.
  • CDL Class A or B License: Clean and valid.
  • Commercial Delivery Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years.
  • Lifting Ability: Ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse equipment, and use hands to handle and feel objects.
