Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician II to join our team at Convergint Federal Solutions. As a Service Technician II, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems, ensuring the highest level of functionality and customer satisfaction within the Federal Operations Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation of security solutions.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to address client concerns and maintain system functionality.
Requirements
  • Minimum high school degree/GED required. Relevant trade certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance of security systems.
  • 1 to 2 product-specific certifications helpful; industry-specific certifications desired; must have or be able to obtain applicable state and/or local required industry licenses as required by state law.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions

The Service Technician II will frequently lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Security Clearance

This position may require a Public Trust Clearance at minimum. The clearance requirements are determined by the agency(s) in which you are assigned. Convergint Federal Solutions will sponsor the level of clearance required. However, it will be your responsibility to obtain and maintain your required level of clearance.
