Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced instructor to teach Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering graphics, drafting technology, or computer-aided design, as well as a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach CAD technology courses at various times and locations, including day, evening, and weekend classes.
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
  • Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
  • Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in engineering graphics, drafting technology, or computer-aided design, or Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or architecture, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field.
