**Job Summary:**

Powell Industries is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Assembler to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing various duties on power control rooms, including bending, running, installing, and terminating electrical conduit.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Install electrical devices, including disconnects, lights, panel boards, transformers, battery chargers, lighting contactors, VFDs, and more
* Bend, run, and install conduit (EMT and Rigid)
* Install wire way and cable tray
* Pull wire and large cable
* Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires
* Install wiring by following standard work/process instructions (NEC Manual)

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
* 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience
* Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
* Ability to bend conduit on a GB Sidewinder style bender (EMT and Rigid)

**Preferred Skills:**

* Experience installing cable tray and wire way
* Ability to crimp and terminate wires
* Working knowledge of electricity, circuits, and functions of common components
* Ability to read drawings and blue prints
* Basic mechanical knowledge

**Working Conditions:**

* Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
* Constantly standing
* Frequently working from a ladder, and climbing up and down ladders
* Constantly working overhead
* Constantly working in cramped quarters
