About the Job:
In this rewarding role, you will provide basic nursing care to geriatric residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, addressing the unique needs of each resident.
Main Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing resident needs, developing and implementing care plans, and administering medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care, interventions, and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Current LPN license in Missouri and Illinois.
- Two years of experience in long-term care and rehabilitation settings.
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- CPR/AED certification and IV certification required.
