This position offers the opportunity to work in a recession-proof industry with a focus on maintaining and repairing critical equipment within a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
- Diagnose and repair Buck Ramps (Automobile railcar unloader ramps) ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Utilize welding and fabrication skills to address repairs and modifications as needed.
- Work on a variety of engine types, including gasoline and diesel, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the mechanical field with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance.
- Proficiency in working with air, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems and components.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a physical strength test and drug screening.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and regulations.
