Position Overview

This role entails the development of testing strategies, including cables, fixtures, and procedures to validate the requirements of specific projects or products. The position focuses on enhancing Innoflight's testing capabilities, aligning product requirements with these capabilities, and expanding testing functionalities where necessary. The selected candidate will also investigate failures, troubleshoot test setups, software, and hardware to determine root causes, and present findings to Test Review Boards to address issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify testable product requirements and formulate test plans to validate various functionalities.
  • Draft Design and Acceptance test procedures for engineering development and product manufacturing.
  • Create test fixtures and cables to assess different features of new and evolving products.
  • Collaborate with the Hardware team to design custom test boards and fixtures for integrated product evaluations.
  • Diagnose failures and report findings during Test Review Board meetings.
  • Work alongside the manufacturing operations team to enhance test readability and reliability.
  • Partner with hardware and software teams to integrate and evaluate products, troubleshooting root cause issues as they arise.
  • Provide accurate estimates for the development of testing features and procedures.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or related role.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment such as Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, or Environmental Test Chambers.
  • Technical experience in testing or working with complex systems.
  • Proficient in documenting and tracking issues, as well as presenting findings to others.
  • Experience with CCA schematics for troubleshooting hardware problems.
  • Knowledge of Linux is advantageous.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is necessary.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Salary Information

$90,000-$105,000 Per Year

Innoflight considers various factors when extending an offer, including the role's responsibilities, the candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Innoflight also offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
