Job Summary:

As a Radiation Therapist at McLaren Health Care, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Your expertise will be essential in performing treatment simulations, fabricating shielding blocks, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares equipment for patient treatments, ensuring quality control and assurance tests are performed, and adhering to optimal radiation safety and protection practices.
Maintains professional working relationships with medical staff, reflecting the philosophy, goals, objectives, and standards of McLaren and nationally accepted standards of practice.

Requirements:

Successful completion of an AMA-accredited course of study in Radiation Therapy Technology.
Certification as a Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT). If not registered at hire, must be within six months.

Preferred Qualifications:

ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy.
