Independent Medical Examiner for Veterans
1 week ago
Deliver exceptional patient care as an Independent Medical Examiner, conducting thorough medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing medical records, performing focused physical exams, and documenting findings electronically. This full-time, in-person role requires strong analytical skills, effective time management, and the ability to stay on task.
In this position, you will see an average of 3-5 Veterans per day, each presenting unique medical histories and needs. As a skilled Nurse Practitioner, you will draw upon your knowledge to analyze data from medical records and exam findings, completing questionnaires and forming medical opinions with confidence. Your independence, combined with our training and support, will empower you to make a meaningful impact in the Veteran community.
This role is not about treating or prescribing medication; rather, it's about providing expert medical assessments that inform the VA's disability determinations. With a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and proficiency in computer use, you'll thrive in our clinical setting, working normal business hours without being on call. Join MRG Exams and contribute to the well-being of America's heroes while enjoying a rewarding career and excellent compensation package.
We offer:
- A competitive daily rate of $450+
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8AM-4PM
- Training and continued support provided
- Health Insurance options available
- Computer supplied
If you're passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and serving the Veteran community, we encourage you to apply. Your dedication and expertise will make a real difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
