Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop a state-of-the-art training curriculum for future internal medicine practitioners.
- Play a vital role in the establishment and expansion of a new residency program.
- Engage in a hospital-based role within a robust multi-specialty practice, overseeing residents in outpatient internal medicine while managing essential administrative tasks.
- Participate in educational initiatives, including lectures, journal discussions, and dedicated research days to enrich the educational experience for residents.
- Encourage resident involvement in scholarly pursuits and provide mentorship in the publication of medical research.
- Contribute to program development by serving on committees, interviewing prospective candidates, and participating in community events.
- Assist residents in meeting their educational goals, offering hands-on clinical training and constructive feedback throughout their rotations.
- Proficiency in outpatient procedures and ultrasound techniques is a plus.
