About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary health care, including health promotion and disease prevention activities, to patients in our Adult Medicine clinic. As a member of our care team, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized care to patients in our Adult Medicine clinic
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Develop and implement health promotion and disease prevention activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate written clinical documentation
- Make evidence-based clinical decisions and comply with department and organizational quality measures
- Use electronic health records and other computer systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases
- Valid State of Connecticut licensure
- Eligibility to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration
- 3+ years' experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
