Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Heart Team at MountainView Regional Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Administer medications and perform various patient tests within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License.
- Associates Degree or higher in Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred.
