Position Overview:
As a key member of the construction and infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and activation of some of the most sophisticated manufacturing facilities globally.

Your expertise will focus on critical fluid systems, including compressed air, piping, and dust collection systems at our headquarters.

This role provides a unique opportunity to leverage your knowledge, experience, and innovative thinking to create groundbreaking solutions at the forefront of space technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on fluid components across the campus, including compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and dust collection systems.
- Conduct CAD modeling and design for these systems.
- Perform fluid analyses for pressure balance, component design allowances, and consumables determination.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure components meet the production, avionics, GNC, mission operations, and other program requirements.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable, working closely with the production team for a seamless transition to a dependable manufacturing process.
- Provide support for material selection, sizing, and procurement.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Over 5 years of professional experience with various fluid components such as valves, pumps, COPVs, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure transducers, or temperature sensors.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Practical experience with fluid handling systems (liquid and/or gas).
- Familiarity with data acquisition equipment and test instrumentation: pressure transducers, thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors, relays.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and air ducting.
- Proficiency in NX or other CAD software, with a solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Experience with structural analysis methods to optimize hardware for strength requirements and evaluate for life and fracture.
- Experience with pressurized structures and/or lightweight aerospace structures.
- Ability to work independently.
