Job Summary

Kruse Village is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Life Enrichment Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with our care team to ensure that activities are aligned with individualized care plans and promote resident engagement and participation.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of activity staff to deliver high-quality programs and services.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for residents to participate in activities and events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and vendors to enhance our programs and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare, recreation, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations related to long-term care.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Activity Professionals Certified (ADC, AAC & ACC).
  • Two years of experience in a leadership role or as an activity director.
