Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse performs patient care services, assists providers with diagnostic procedures, and performs laboratory tests in a medical office or clinic setting. This role requires strong organizational skills, with a focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow. The ideal candidate will have excellent attitude, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities to interact with patients, family members, physicians, and other hospital associates.

Responsibilities:

• Provides patient care services, including administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
• Assists providers with patient procedures, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school required.
• Current professional RN licensure by the State of Indiana required.
• Minimum of 2 years of current clinical experience in order to acquire a thorough knowledge of scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, and develop skill in nursing techniques and the ability to adapt to techniques to individual patient needs.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care for all age groups and their family members.
• Registered Nurse must maintain current CPR certification.
