Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial and Grants Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing a designated part of the research financial portfolio for the Department of Emergency Medicine. Your expertise will be utilized to apply financial skills and knowledge to other externally funded projects, ensuring compliance with governing financial, research, and operational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage research financial systems and execute departmental procedures
  • Provide analytical, operational, and financial support for research proposal processing, contract and grant administration, budget development, and closeout activities
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and private sponsors' requirements, including intramural awards
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and analysis, including regular financial reporting and optimization
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial or accounting-related positions
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with federal and state contracts and grants fiscal policies and procedures
