Role Summary:

Adecco is partnering with a local organization to find a detail-oriented and skilled Payroll and Benefits Administrator to become part of their workforce. This position is crucial for overseeing payroll processing, managing employee benefits, and executing various administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
  • Review and verify time entries using Heavy Job and Equipment 360.
  • Execute weekly payroll processing with Sage CRE 300.
  • Ensure accuracy in certified payroll information and prepare necessary reports.
  • Administer 401k and HSA contributions.
  • Monitor vacation and Safety PTO pay.
  • Reconcile payroll and benefits general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Prepare and file federal and state quarterly tax returns.
  • Present benefits information to new employees.
  • Track employee eligibility for benefits and manage required documentation.
  • Process payroll for a workforce of 70 to 80 employees using Sage CRE 300.

Administrative Duties:
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Handle and deposit all incoming funds at the bank.
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash across various locations.
  • Order and maintain office supplies for all departments.
  • Oversee company calendars and scheduling.
  • Assist in organizing company events.
  • Support management with recruitment processes.
  • Manage new vendor accounts for Accounts Payable.
  • Assist with front desk duties and incoming phone inquiries.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator or in a similar capacity.
  • Expertise in payroll software, particularly Sage CRE 300.
  • Familiarity with time entry systems like Heavy Job and Equipment 360.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, benefits management, and tax regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Compensation Details:
