Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring technical quality and safety
  • Enter and monitor patient data, maintaining accurate records
  • Perform quality assurance on CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management
  • Take emergency calls within the department, working varied shifts and floating to other locations as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
  • Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT))
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions
