Position Overview: The role of the Security Guard is essential in ensuring the safety and protection of all individuals on campus, including faculty, staff, students, and visitors, as well as the integrity of the campus facilities.

Working Hours: Evening shifts from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays, with additional hours on Saturdays as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a secure environment for all campus community members.
  • Conduct regular patrols of designated areas and report any suspicious activities to the Security Director.
  • Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and any legal violations, providing reports to the Security Director.
  • Engage with unauthorized individuals for identification verification and pass checks.
  • Assist in removing trespassers and other unauthorized individuals from the premises.
  • Ensure that all entry points are secured at the appropriate times.
  • Oversee and monitor school-related activities during assigned shifts.
  • Perform security checks of doors and gates after hours to maintain property safety.
  • Manage traffic flow and parking on campus, ensuring compliance with parking regulations.
  • Respond to emergencies by contacting law enforcement or fire services as necessary.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong observational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with the layout of the campus and its buildings.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of security protocols is essential.
  • Experience in private security or law enforcement is advantageous but not essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Officer license.
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid is preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to navigate the property efficiently.
  • Physical capability to reach, climb, kneel, and squat.
  • Endurance for extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
