About the Role:
The Behavioral Health Technician will work under the supervision of nursing staff to assist in meeting the needs of behavioral health patients. This includes maintaining constant direct observation and visualization of identified patient(s), working in a stressful environment, and taking appropriate action.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in Behavioral Health preferred.
- CNA certification desired; BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Handle With Care certification within 6 months of hire.
- Previous mental health experience preferred.
