We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Mixer to join our team at Zep. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely and accurately completing assigned Compounding Production Orders.

• Compounding and Mixing: Safely and accurately complete assigned Compounding Production Orders, which includes performing kettle and holding tank washouts, recording raw material requirements, and submitting samples for testing and approval.
• Quality Control: Ensure formula batches meet required specifications by following production order instructions and procedures.
• Equipment Operation: Safely and appropriately use equipment such as pumps, hoses, transfer lines, and valves to transfer raw materials and formulas.
• Housekeeping and Maintenance: Execute assigned housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean work environment, and replace and maintain hoses, gaskets, and connectors as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting transfer pumps.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), may include specialized or vocational courses.
• Experience: Two to three years of chemical mixing and material handling experience preferred.
• Skills: Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
