About the Role

This position involves supporting our cybersecurity efforts by performing risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and mitigation planning. You will also manage the development and submission of Authority to Operate (ATO) packages and oversee the implementation of security controls across our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and mitigation planning to identify and address potential security threats.
  • Manage the development and submission of Authority to Operate (ATO) packages to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversight of security controls implementation across infrastructure, networks, and applications to maintain the integrity of our systems.
  • Support cloud migration efforts by performing security scans and implementing secure solutions to protect our data.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans, contingency plans, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Audit and inspect our systems regularly to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of work-related experience in cybersecurity roles with increasing responsibility.
  • A CISSP certification, with Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) desired.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST RMF and 800-53 Rev. 5.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and identity and access management (IAM).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with development and IT teams.
