Baker - Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Three Rivers Casino Resort. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for planning, baking, and packaging all fresh baked goods for our food court, restaurants, and special events.

• Collaborate with our Executive Chef to determine weekly baked good needs and suggest new items based on ingredient availability, seasons, and promotions.
• Create and follow recipes, scaling as needed to achieve required product volume.
• Prepare and package all baked goods to ensure sufficient product availability, focusing on items needed for days when no baking is being done.
• Ensure that all food is baked, handled, and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality.
• Plate and display baked goods in a visually appealing manner, ensuring efficient accessibility in display areas.
• Stay informed on new and efficient baking tools and equipment, recommending products to our Executive Chef.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and bakery area, adhering to our health and personal hygiene policy.
• Assist with baking product inventory and ordering as needed.

As a member of our team, you will be exposed to a moderate noise level, with occasional high levels for short periods. You must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8 hours, and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds with assistance.

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
• 2 years combined experience in production bread baking and dessert items or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing, or by other acceptable means.
• Comply with pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on department needs and special casino events.

$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
