We are seeking a highly skilled Lamination Operator to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective production of high-quality laminated materials.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the lamination team to achieve daily production targets and client specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Perform complex make-ready duties, including speedwell installation/removal, sump setup, and webbing of the coating unit.
- Inspect materials received from prior operations to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications.
- Perform safe loading/unloading practices of unwind and rewind.
- Perform basic operator preventative maintenance to machines and/or tools.
- Provide guidance to the crew to ensure laminated material is produced in a safe, effective, and profitable manner.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a lamination position.
- Strong working knowledge of lamination process.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
