Medical Liaison Expert in Rheumatology and Pulmonology

Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is a leading pharmaceutical company seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join its team. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders within the rheumatology and pulmonology communities.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex medical information effectively. This position requires a field-based approach, necessitating frequent travel up to 60% of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) through engaging scientific exchanges and peer-to-peer dialogue
- Engage in HCP field education, training, and safe use of drugs or biologics
- Assess KOL alignment with key scientific discussion topics to inform territory and medical strategy
- Compliantly support company-sponsored research, investigator-initiated research, external collaborative research, and publications associated with Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals' product(s)
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, other healthcare environment, or equivalent experience
- Prior and recent experience in Rheumatology and/or Pulmonology
- Ability to effectively communicate scientific content through face-to-face individual meetings, small group interactions, and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to access and develop relationships with external stakeholders
